SITECLOUD RELEASE NOTES – January 2020
Sensera Systems has been hard at work this past month working on the latest enhancements to our SiteCloud software. Further to our branding updates, customers will notice that the login screen is now branded as SiteCloud to align with our new URL sitecloud.senserasystems.com. Likewise, customers will see that any emailed alerts or notifications will also reflect a “from” address called SiteCloud (formerly WebApp).
Additionally, we have improved the time-lapse feature in two significant ways! First, it is now possible to configure up to 3 overlapping time-lapse schedules which will generate 3 separate time-lapse videos; a great way to see progress from multiple vantage points. Second, we have added automatic stabilization to the time-lapse video feature (available on all models) which delivers a much smoother video experience.
And finally, we’ve expanded access to our SitePOV mobile app to include permission-based users so that they can also benefit from utilizing their phone camera to take images “up close and personal” on the jobsite and have them immediately uploaded into SiteCloud for easy viewing and sharing by all stakeholders.
REMINDER: Signing into SiteCloud
As a reminder, be sure to update your bookmark to reflect sitecloud.senserasystems.com for quick and easy access to your account. Not to worry though! The previous URL (WebApp) will redirect you to the correct webpage.
PTZ500 Time-lapse Videos
Whether you want to capture one, two or three fields of view for time-lapse images, you can generate a time-lapse video for each schedule separately including the start/stop dates, duration, video size, quality and more! You can now also include an informative introduction with the camera name and date before sharing this deliverable to the site owner, the marketing team to help win new business or other stakeholders.
NOTE: Time-lapse schedules can overlap on all models and all models can have a separate time-lapse video from each schedule. However, all videos generated from the MC-Series will be from the same field of view.
Read Only Users get a new name!
To better align the user type formally known as “read only” to the options available to this type of user, we have renamed them to “Permission-based user access”. As always, anyone with the main account username and password is welcome to create these users, assign permissions to certain cameras and operations.
NOTE: Permission-based users can now download and utilize the SItePOV App
New Time Zone
For our customers located in the northern most parts, we have added a time zone for your image schedules called Atlantic/Canadian.
